Cain Hillier is a 2025-26 Tarbell Fellow at Newcomer, based in London. He will be reporting on the inner workings of the AI startup and venture capital industry. Cain previously worked as a technical writer at Schneider Electric and a researcher at the European Institute of Asian Studies.<\/p>\n

Cain holds an MPhil in Global Risk and Resilience from the University of Cambridge, where he wrote about organisational behaviour in frontier AI labs.
