Mathias Gjesdal Hammer is an international affairs journalist based between Washington D.C. and Oslo, Norway. Before being a Tarbell Fellow, he worked for Klassekampen, one of Norway\u2019s largest newspapers. He has previously written for The Guardian, the Diplomat and Tribune magazine, among others. He has completed an MPhil in international relations from the University of Oxford, where he was an Aker Scholar, and a BA in political science from the University of Cambridge.<\/p>\n
