Jakub Kraus is a Tarbell Fellow at Lawfare. He previously worked at the Center for AI Policy, where he wrote the AI Policy Weekly newsletter and hosted a podcast on AI’s impacts and governance. He is especially interested in how the U.S. government shapes AI policy, both domestically and internationally, and how today’s policy choices affect preparedness for the opportunities and risks of future AI capabilities. Jakub holds a BS in Data Science and Mathematics from the University of Michigan.
